We offer our sincere thanks to all the speakers who came at their own expense to give back to our hobby. They are the very best in their area, and everyone truly enjoyed their presentations in the past. We also thank our sponsors, including prize donors who contribute greatly to this convention, but we can all agree it's those attending who make SEDCO a success. The attendance has steadily increased, and this encourages us to continue with SEDCO IV.
THEREFORE
SEDCO IV is called for 27, Sept 2008 at the MainStay Conference Center, Pigeon Forge, TN.
The address for those of us who use GPS technology.. some of us to get home is:
Main Stay Suites
410 Pine Mountain Road
Pigeon Forge, TN, US, 37863
We have ALL the facility, including the large conference room and 85 rooms blocked for Friday 26th and Sat 27th. The conference will again have a full program on DX and Contesting ....see below, nice prizes and two separate raffles. All proceeds from raffles will be re-invested in our hobby in the form of donations to DXpeditions and non profit organizations which sponsor or support DXpeditions.
PLUS we will once again have a Damon's catered dinner Sat evening. We are working on a speaker/breakfast on Sunday morning in 2009!
Ten-Tec will take ticket reservations NOW. See note at top of page for details. Remember in 2008 we will have plenty of rooms at the MainStay. Call the desk at 865-428-8350 and say SEDCO!
Talking about donation for the TWO separate raffles, we have ICOM America and YAESU once again stepping up to contribute since they know well what fellowship is and have been a LARGE part in the past. Well, they are back and we will have two raffles, one for an ICOM IC-756 ProIII and one for a YAESU FT-2000!!!! We all sincerely thank ICOM and YAESU for their generosity. We have many other prizes to be given away all during the day and at the dinner. If you are like me you can see your buddy very happy!

Behind the Scenes on 7 “DXpeditions of the Year”
Anyone doing something about the sunspots will be welcomed with open arms, hi. Let's not forget the youth in our hobby. Those who are old duffers know the wonderful feelings we had, and perhaps our youth could also experience some of those feelings!
